Islamabad to Host International Conference on Economic Empowerment

Islamabad:The upcoming "International Conference on Inclusive and Resilient Economic Empowerment and Growth" is set to take place in Islamabad over two days, starting on Tuesday.

According to Radio Pakistan, Syed Imran Ahmad Shah, the Minister for Poverty Alleviation, announced that representatives from twelve countries are expected to participate in the event.

Additionally, the conference will welcome 400 more participants, including researchers, policymakers, and representatives from the private sector and civil society. The Minister expressed optimism that the event will provide a strong national platform to enhance collaborative efforts in combating poverty.

Syed Imran Shah also highlighted the achievements of the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund, which is active in 157 districts and has established 171,200 community centers aimed at supporting vulnerable populations.
