Karachi:The Sindh government has made the decision to declare Tharparkar as a calamity-hit district.
According to Radio Pakistan, this decision was reached during a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in Karachi.
During the meeting, Syed Murad Ali Shah emphasized the need for immediate repair and reactivation of non-functional reverse osmosis plants and the urgent restoration of all existing water supply sources. Additionally, he stressed the importance of long-term planning to secure the water supply from Naukot to Mithi.
