Islamabad:Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has reaffirmed the government's dedication to providing targeted fuel relief to deserving segments of society. This initiative follows the Prime Minister's directives aiming to ensure maximum relief for common citizens.
According to Radio Pakistan, Ishaq Dar chaired a joint meeting of the National Steering Committee on Fuel Subsidy Scheme and the Committee on Media Management for the Prime Minister's Fuel Relief Scheme. During the meeting, he emphasized the importance of effective inter-provincial and inter-ministerial coordination, the smooth execution of plans, efficient resource allocation, and a robust public awareness campaign.
The meeting reviewed the operational status, targeting mechanisms, and implementation strategy for the targeted fuel subsidy scheme. It also addressed the media communication plan to ensure widespread public awareness and seamless outreach. Dar expressed appreciation for the input and cooperation from provincial governments, as well as the governments of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
